Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the MindSparkd app. By using the app you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

Using the app

You need an account to use MindSparkd. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself. You must be 13 or older.

What you write is yours

The reflections you write remain yours. Nothing you write is claimed, published, used to train anything, or shown to anyone else. Storing it in order to show it back to you is the only use made of it.

What is ours

The quote library, the app's design, name and artwork belong to MindSparkd. The quotes are provided for your own reading. Background photographs are licensed from Pexels and are shown inside the app only — they may not be extracted or redistributed as wallpapers, which is why sharing a quote always produces an image with the quote on it.

Fair use of the service

Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers, and do not upload anything unlawful or anything you do not have the right to use.

Subscriptions

If paid features are offered, they are sold through Apple. Payment is taken by Apple, subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you cancel or request a refund through your Apple account rather than through MindSparkd. Prices and what is included may change; you will be told before a change affects you.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings › Edit profile, which removes your data — see Delete your data. Accounts used to break these terms may be suspended or removed.

No warranty

MindSparkd is provided as it is. It is a quote app, not advice — medical, psychological, financial or otherwise. Nothing in it should be relied on as a substitute for professional help. If you are struggling, please talk to someone qualified.

To the extent the law allows, MindSparkd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the law where you live.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
